What is it about Turkey…

Gunner is doing fantastic again… I’ve almost convinced myself he’s allergic to turkey. He’s had two 1/4 chickens in the last 24 hours with no problems… and after each meal he’s still hungry and wanting more. Today i gave him a few small slices of Pig Heart. He really enjoys that.

His last experience with Turkey got me thinking again about diversity in his diet. A coworker told me about “Meat’s” and “Salty’s” over on the east side. I’m going to check one out tomorrow and see what the packaged offerings look like. Uwajimaya (www.uwajimaya.com/) actually has a ver nice selection of odd meats, and I think I’ll get fish from there eventually.  I still haven’t found a source for “Big Meaty Bones”… the kind that will take ole’ Gunner here an hour to get though.   i’m hoping Meat’s or Salty’s will do the trick.
