Stella & Chewy’s Chicken Patties

He has  lot of energy… could be the food, could be the 70 fall weather.  Who’s to say?

We tried a beef blend earlier this week but work prevented me from getting good pics.  It’s great stuff, and I think he prefers it to the Chicken option I have here.  This is “Stella & Chewy’s” brand Raw Chicken Patties.  It’s got whole slew of added vegetables and fruit to help round out the diet (which is counter to the “Prey Model” I’d originally prescribed to).  The patty form is fairly convenient but I don’t think it’s targeted towards bigger breeds like the other brand though as he can eat 3 in a single meal (more to come on that).

I do like how quickly it thaws, which I’m learning is half the effort with a raw diet. Food preservation is a bit of a task, but if you proportion and take things out of the freezer on a schedule, it’s easy. I like Stella’s because it’s easy to do that.

I threw and egg in this time because I didn’t want to overload him with a new food, but I know 2 patty’s wont be enough.

I considered grilling one up for myself, but the I don’t think the bones would go over real well.  I could just tell my wife I got if from Whole Foods….
