“Meat’s” food… on the East side

ok, so “Meat’s” (aka “for cats and dogs” – still not sure of legal name) is a fantastic place.  There were five other customers in and out while I was there, all of which seemed to be repeat customers.   The owner was very friendly and very knowledgable.  Frankly, had I just walked in there a month ago, I could have stepped into this a bit faster and with more confidence.

I was also quite surprised with the selections.  I imagined a few brands, and big bones.  There must have been at least 10 or 12 options… which seems to indicate this trend is gaining traction.  I walked out with a big pack of bones (recreational bones) a very cool bag of dehydrated salmon treats and two “chubs” of beef dinner mix.  I’ll cover them in more detail in anther post…. for now suffice to say Gunner loves it, and aside from one barf he’s taken to the new offerings wonderfully.

It’s a little expensive…  but combined with simple raw meat, I think the solution has been found. Thank you Meat’s for offering such a fantastic offering of natural pet foods! Check out their blog here: Meat’s
